The ATH Belted Moto Pants have quickly become one of my favorite pieces we've created.
The inspiration comes from 1940s French military motorcycle pants, which were originally designed as an over-layer (think: throw them on over your uniform). We love the high rise and wide leg silhouette and decided to build our block based on this design.
The originals were beautifully utilitarian, but let's be honest: two front pockets and a couple of pass-through side pockets aren't cutting it when these are your main pants. So we kept what worked which included the front pockets, added two functional back pockets, and made those side pockets actually usable.

We also refined the construction – stripping away some of the military details that felt unnecessary and focusing on a cleaner, more artisan approach. Then we stone-washed them to give the fabric this incredible softness with subtle tonal variations that make them feel broken-in from day one. No distressing or artificial wear here – just that naturally lived-in look.
The color decision was the hardest part. The indigo is rich but wearable, while the slate is honestly one of those everyday neutrals that pairs with almost everything. Both feel effortless, which is exactly what we were going for. These pants, along with the upcoming denim we're finishing for Holiday '25, will be staples in our current and upcoming collection.
